3. Terms and Conditions for Transferring Funds to a Bank Account 3.1 The user must initiate the transfer request via the application to transfer funds from their wallet to the desired bank account, following the steps and procedures specified by the company.
3.2 The user acknowledges and agrees that a fee will be charged for transferring funds from the wallet to the desired bank account. The user can check the fees on the website www.epswallet.com The fee will be deducted from the wallet balance immediately upon request.
3.3 Under section 2.11, the amount the user can transfer per day and per month will depend on the level of user identity verification.
3.4 The user cannot cancel a transfer request once it has been submitted.
3.5 If the company detects that the wallet balance is insufficient to cover the requested transfer amount and transaction fee, the company reserves the right to suspend the service.
3.6 If the company’s service is disrupted due to a bank’s system issue, the company will automatically refund the funds to the user’s wallet within 3 (three) business days after receiving notification from the bank.
3.7 In cases where the user’s transfer request cannot be completed for any reason, the user acknowledges that the company will not refund the transaction fee unless the failure is caused by a system issue from the company or the bank.
4. Terms and Conditions for Using Source of Funds in the Application4.1 Users must have an EPS Wallet account before they can link any Source of Funds to their EPS Wallet account. The company reserves the right to provide this service only for the Source of Funds that the company has made available for connection with the EPS Wallet account.
4.2 Users acknowledge and agree that once they have linked a Source of Funds to their EPS Wallet account, the company may need to access the information of that Source of Funds in order to display it within the application on the user’s device or through other channels as determined by the company. This is to facilitate the user's convenience in using the Source of Funds service under these terms.
Once the user has successfully linked a Source of Funds to their EPS Wallet account, the company will automatically add the newly linked Source of Funds to the payment priority order.
4.3 The company reserves the right to limit the number of Source of Funds accounts that users can link to their EPS Wallet account as follows:
- Up to three (3) credit or debit cards per EPS Wallet account
- Up to five (5) bank accounts per EPS Wallet account
The company may change these limits in the future and will notify users in advance.
4.4 Users are not required to pay any service fees for using the Source of Funds, except when using the application to make payments for goods and/or services. However, for certain Source of Funds such as credit or debit cards, the company may conduct a temporary transaction to verify the user’s identity. The amount deducted will be refunded immediately, and users will not be charged any fees for this verification process.
4.5 Once a Source of Funds has been linked to the user's EPS Wallet account, the user agrees that if they make a payment for goods and/or services through their EPS Wallet account using that Source of Funds, the company is authorized to deduct the required amount from the linked Source of Funds to complete the transaction with the merchant or service provider.
4.6 Users can only conduct specific transactions with each type of Source of Funds as determined by the company. Additionally, payments using each type of Source of Funds can only be made for certain merchants or service providers designated by the company.
The following transactions are not allowed using credit or debit cards:
- Credit card bill payments
- Peer-to-peer (P2P) transfers between EPS Wallet accounts
The company reserves the right to modify the types of transactions, as well as the goods and/or services that can be paid for using different Source of Funds in the future.
Additionally, if a user makes a peer-to-peer (P2P) transfer to another EPS Wallet account using a linked bank account, the user agrees that the company will first deduct the amount from their linked bank account and deposit it into their EPS Wallet. The company will then proceed with transferring the funds to the recipient’s EPS Wallet. Users also agree to pay any applicable top-up fees as specified in the EPS Wallet application.
4.7 Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.7.1 Cancelling a Payment for Goods and/or Services
If a user wishes to cancel a payment for goods and/or services, they must request the cancellation directly with the merchant or service provider within the designated time frame.
For full payments, the cancellation request must be made within 30 days from the transaction date.
The company will process the cancellation within 7 business days from the date the request is confirmed.
Refunds will be issued only to the original Source of Funds used for the transaction. If a refund cannot be processed to the original Source of Funds (e.g., a bank account), the user agrees that the company may credit the refund amount to their EPS Wallet instead. The company will complete this process within 7 business days.
If the payment was made using a Source of Funds other than the user’s EPS Wallet balance, the user acknowledges that banks, financial institutions, or credit/debit card issuers may take between 5 to 45 business days to process the refund, depending on their individual refund policies. If the refund is not received within the specified period, the user should directly contact the respective bank, financial institution, or Source of Funds provider.
4.7.2 Peer-to-Peer Transfers
If a user successfully completes a peer-to-peer (P2P) transfer to another EPS Wallet account, they acknowledge and agree that the transaction cannot be canceled or reversed.
4.8 Acknowledgment of Service Scope
The user acknowledges that the company solely provides a service to facilitate transactions using the Source of Funds linked to the user's EPS Wallet account, strictly according to the user’s instructions. The company does not act as a bank, financial institution, credit card provider, debit card provider, electronic card provider, or financial service provider in performing these transactions.
The company’s services do not constitute:
- Direct money transfer services for users, and/or
- Trustee (Trustee), custodian, or manager of the user’s funds.
If any issues arise due to the use of different Source of Funds linked to the user's EPS Wallet account, beyond cash transactions, the user agrees to directly contact the respective bank, financial institution, credit card provider, debit card provider, electronic card provider, or Source of Funds provider for resolution. The company holds no involvement in such matters.
